Bower Spinach

 

  • The berries were eaten by the Kaurna people, and used as dye for their clothes. They also used the berries to make paint.

 

  • It grows in sandy soil and is found in South Australia.

 

  • The flowers grow in all seasons and are yellow.

 

  • Its scientific name is Tetragonia Implexicoma and is part of the ice-plant family.
