Flax Lily

The berries were eaten as a snack by the Kaurna people.
The leaves had many uses including being used to make baskets, string and boiled to make tea.
It was found in native bushlands.
Blue and yellow flowers would emerge in Spring.
As it attracted birds, the seeds would spread thoroughly.
