Matt Rush

 

  • The Matt Rush was used by the Kaurna people to make mats and baskets with the stiff stringy leaves.

  • Sometimes this plant blooms dull yellow flowers at its base in spring.

  • The Matt Rush is found in grassland areas and woodlands.
